COMMENT: this is a review of the pre-operative pulmonary and cardiac risk assessment for patients requiring pulmonary resection. It discusses the use of split perfusion lung scanning. For cardiac assessment, it does not discuss myocardial perfusion imaging, which is a major downfall of this paper.
