MidWinter Conference February 8, 2003

5th Annual Midwinter Conference at Silver Mountain

KELLOGG, Idaho, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/
-- Medjournal.com, the premier provider of category I continuing medical education (CME) on the Internet, will focus on women's health issues at its annual midwinter conference to be held February 8, 2003 adjacent to the Silver Mountain Ski Resort, in Kellogg, Idaho. The first presentation on Women and Coronary Artery Disease gets underway at 8 a.m. A total of four speakers will present materials that will earn participants four hours of category I CME.

"We are seeing a growing demand among Medjournal.com users for comprehensive education materials on women's health particularly for physicians in remote locations away from major healthcare intuitions," Tom Heston, MD editor-in-chief said.

"This offering will help fill that need. CME offerings at the conference include outdoor emergency care, preventive cardiology and hormone replacement therapy," Heston said.

Sponsors of the 2003 Internet Medical Association include the Internet Medical Association, Silver Mountain Ski Patrol, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Mountain Health Care, Global Nuclear Medicine and Medjournal.com

In addition to the category I CME opportunity, the Internet Medical Association will begin formation of a CME advisory committee.

"A key goal for the Internet Medical Association this year is a CME advisory board that will help guide the development of new program offerings and make recommendations that will help shape the continued growth of the Internet Medical Journal," Dr. Tom Heston said.
