Activity appears to lower breast cancer risk
 

This review of 1233 Canadian women with breast cancer compared with 1237 healthy women found that women who put in 43 hours or more of activity a week had a 31% lower risk of breast cancer compared with those who put in less than 29 hours. Activity could be either on the job, at home (e.g. doing housework), or exercise.
