Reduction in C-reactive protein through cardiac rehabilitation and exercise training
This study of 277 people with coronary heart disease found that a formalized, three month long exercise program lead to significant reductions in high sensitivity c-reactive protein levels. The authors conclude that their findings identify another clinical method of reducing CRP levels beyond the use of statin drugs.
