I've read many abstracts and authoritative reports on PET for breast scanning.
My question is -- was it in 2001 and is it now - still investigational - requiring informed consent to participate in a clinical trial prior to a patient undergoing a nuclear diagnostic breast scan?

My information reveals it is "investigational to date"
