Low Plasma Selenium Levels Associated With an Increased Risk of Prostate Cancer
This study of 1163 men found that those with lower levels of plasma selenium levels had an increased risk of prostate cancer. The researchers state that a trial looking at whether or not selenium supplements help reduce prostate cancer rates should be done.
