Low Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Levels a Risk Factor For Alzheimer's Disease

This study of 469 adults found that those with Alzheimer's Disease (n=178) had lower levels of thyroid stimulating hormone than those without Alzheimer's (n=291). The researchers found this risk to be independent of other known cerebrovascular risk factors.
