Detecting Occult Coronary Disease in a High-Risk Asymptomatic Population
This study looked at the evaluation of asymptomatic people with a family history of heart disease, and found that in this population an abnormal exercise myocardial perfusion scan identified predominantly mild coronary disease. Comment: mild coronary disease is probably just what we are looking for in this population group. [ Circulation. 2003;107:702 ]
