Screen All Women With Treadmill Test
This study of 5721 asymptomatic women in the Chicago area led the researchers to conclude that exercise testing should be done in all asymptomatic women. According to Dr. Marth Gulati, "We're recommending exercise stress testing in all symptomatic women." COMMENT: this study found that exercise capacity was a strong predictor of cardiac disease, and as good as the Duke Treadmill score.
