Management of patients with lung cancer
[Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network] SIGN guideline recommend PET scanning for the investigation of solitary pulmonary lesions. Of the diagnostic imaging methods they recommend, PET scanning was found to have the highest level of evidence (PET received a "C" versus CT and x-ray which received a "D" grade). This guideline is throrough and informative.
