The Merck Manual 17th Edition
The Merck Manual is a classic, now in its 17th edition. This one small book contains all of the common medical disorders, and most of the rare and exotic ones as well. It is a good reference to have in your home library, and a good book for the doctor as well. I have owned the most recent edition since beginning medical school, and still consult it frequently. Thankfully this gem
is one of those rare medical books that is really inexpensive. I strongly recommend this book. I recommend the Home Version for most households, but don't shy away from the more technical
Standard Edition. Grade: A+
