Scientific American

The Scientific American Medicine textbook and CD-Rom is a high quality, medical text intended for physicians in clinical practice, mainly primary care physicians. The best feature about SAM is that the text is updated frequently (CD-Rom subscribers get quarterly updates). Also, subscribers get plenty of CME credits included in the subscription price. It also features an online companion that enhances its overall value.

SAM on CD-Rom is a great educational value- the best I've ever come across. However, I've found that the Current Clinical Strategies Publishing website is more useful in my day to day practice. This site just contains the down and dirty information that you need to look up in between office visits.
