Fruit and Vegetable Consumption and Peripheral Arterial Disease

This study of 44,059 men found that a diet high in fruit and vegetables did NOT decrease their risk of developing peripheral artery disease. The researchers also looked independently at diets high in fruits, and diets high in vegetables, and found NO benefit in decreasing the risk of coronary artery disease.
