How to kill antrax in your mail

Expert: Iron Your Mail to Kill Anthrax

www.Newsmax.com wires- Yesterday, Dr. Ken Alibek addressed members of Congressman Chris Shays' Terrorism Task Force, as well as members of the press.

He advised how mail should be handled: Iron it!

Alibek advised that the fabric of the ironing board or any cloth should be moistened. This helps produce additional steam.

Turn the iron at its hottest, with steam, and iron away -- just as you might with a shirt.

Alibek said if there is any anthrax inside, it will be rendered "harmless."

He did advise individuals not to use a microwave oven. Heat alone may not kill the anthrax spores, hence the need for steam from the iron and fabric.
