US to increase drug stockpiles

Bush announced plans to increase stockpiles of antibiotics for antrax from enough for 2 million people to enough for 12 million people (a 6 fold increase).

Also, plan is to increase stockpiles of smallpox vaccines from 40 million up to 300 million.
