Saturated Fat Associated With the Development of Diabetes

This study found a positive association between plasma fatty acids and the development of diabetes. The findings indirectly support the hypothesis that a diet low in saturated fats is protective against the development of diabetes.[ American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Vol. 78, No. 1, 91-98, July 2003 ]
