Effects of Estrogen plus Progestin on Health-Related Quality of Life

This analysis of the data from the Women's Health Initiative trial found that giving postmenopausal women aged 50 to 79 years of age did not improve their health-related quality of life. Comment: this is further evidence that hormone replacement therapy with the combination of estrogen and progesterone has fewer and fewer indications. [ NEJM May 8, 2003 ]
