Thyroxine has Little Effect on the Size of Thyroid Nodules in Postmenopausal Women

[Clinical Thyroidology Review] This study looked at 81 women with benign thyroid nodules and found that nodule size was not significantly affected by T4 therapy. This may allow postmenopausal women avoid T4 therapy which can have deleterious side-effects.
