Question Re: Lump behind ear

Hi, I have just over the last two days developed a lump, just like yours. Did u get any replies? how long did it take to clear up? Mine has gone hard now and bigger. I am not sure if I should go to the Doctor or wait it out.

But now I have a pain in my Jaw, neck and shoulder. And I am dizzy with a headache.

Did you ever get any of these symptoms?

My lump is tender to touch. Only clear liquid comes from it if I squeeze it! sorry if that is too much detail.

I would be glad of any suggestions, thank you.

Re: Lump behind ear

The swelling you have described that is felt on the left upper side of the neck behind the ear is probably enlarged Lymph nodes as it occurs in a Lymph node region.
Abnormal Lymph node enlargement commonly results from infection / immune response, cancer.

Following infection Lymph nodes become enlarged, painful and tender.

A history of scalp infected lesions, or Ear infection may be present, as this Lymph node could be a reactionary to infection in the area drained by this Lymph node group. http://medmind.net/diagnosticsillne...gement-116.html
