Screening for Lung Cancer
The US Preventive Services Task Force has released recommendations for screening for lung cancer. In brief, the task force states that the evidence is insufficient to recommend for or against screening asymptomatic persons with with either low dose computerized tomography (LDCT), chest x-ray (CXR), sputum cytology, or a combination of these tests.
Attached to this post is the recommendation in PDF format.
