Estimating the Risk of Coronary Artery Disease

This study found that the risk of coronary heart disease was 3% among Americans without self-reported known coronary artery disease, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, or diabetes. 18% of Americans (without self-reported CHD, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, or diabetes) had a risk of >10%.
