Miscarriage risk cut by antibiotics

The early treatment of bacterial vaginosis with a 5 day course of clindamycin was shown to decrease the risk of a premature delivery by 10% in this study of 6120 pregnant women. [ BBC NEWS 3/21/2003 (the Lancet) ]
