Infection and Aseptic Loosening in Total Hip Replacements: Role of PET vs 3PBS vs XR
This study of 30 patients found bone scintigraphy to be the most specific test for ruling out infection, and conventional x-rays the most sensitive. PET and bone scanning performed similarly.
