Geography and service supply do not explain socioeconomic gradients in angiography use after acute myocardial infarction
This study found that those in a higher socioeconomic class were more likely to undergo catheterization after a myocardial infarction. The findings were found after correcting for both patient and physician characteristics. Comment: it\'s hard to adjust for physician bias or patient motivation. It\'s possible that these factors may explain the findings. [ CMAJ • February 4, 2003; 168 (3) ]
