This will be the 3rd time that Dr. Don Canaday has generously shared his expertise in cardiology at the Midwinter Conference. He is a very active cardiologist, helping staff several clinics throughout the Inland Empire as a member of Inland Cardiology Associates. His primary hosptial for tertiary cardiac care is Sacred Heart Medical Center. His talk on carvedilol and congestive heart failure will be featured in the the next issue of the Internet Medical Journal. He is an avid skier and a staunch supporter of the Silver Mountain Ski Patrol.

Inland Cardiology is pleased to announce the recent association of Dr. Susan Alexander. She currently is practicing in Spokane, but will help staff the outlying clinics (including Kellogg) in the near future.

Don Canaday, MD

Dr. Canaday joined Inland Cardiology in 1984. He earned his Medical Degree and completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

Dr. Canaday's special interests include pacemakers, angioplasty, coronary stenting and rotoblation. In his free time he enjoys jogging, skiing, taking walks with his wife and playing with their dog, Jake.

Susan Alexander, MD

Dr. Susan Alexander recently joined Inland Cardiology Associates. She is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, and she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University and Cardiovascular and Nuclear Cardiovascular Fellowships done at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Alexander's Interventional Cardiology Fellowship was reeived at the Sequoia Hospital, CA.

Susan's special interests include mountaineering, high-altitude and wilderness medicine, windsurfing, scuba diving, skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. Her many outdoor interests fit into our beautiful Inland Northwest.
